Valerie’s first email to me began with the sentence I really like what you do with light. It seems only fitting then that hers and Steven’s day was full of gorgeous light. From the beautiful rooms they got ready in at the Loews in Philly, to the pre-thunderstorm light filtering through the windows for their first look, to the delicate light under City Hall for their portraits, their day was simply full of light. It’s also fitting, because Valerie and Steven themselves are light-filled, funny, bright, sweet, and endlessly joyous. The sun held out for them all day, until giving them a glorious ceremony thunderstorm. I’d spend a rainy afternoon with these two any day!
