I capture the unspoken — the glances, the silences — drawing from New York's pulse and the richness of global cultures. Every wedding is its own intricate narrative. Rooted in theatre and life's everyday rhythms, I document moments both transient and timeless.

Hey, I'm susan!

The Mansion on Main Street wedding

The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees, New Jersey is one of the most comprehensive wedding venues in South Jersey. Grand staircases, crystal chandeliers, marble floors, a glass ceremony pavilion, gardens with cascading waterfalls, and a property that photographs well in every direction. I have shot here. I also used to live in nearby Haddonfield, so this area is genuinely familiar to me. More at mansiononmainstreet.com.

The Event Spaces

Two outdoor ceremony spaces surrounded by gardens, gazebos, and a waterfall. The glass ceremony pavilion is an indoor ceremony option with natural light and architectural character. The Waldorf Ballroom for large receptions with crystal chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows. The Madison Ballroom for more intimate gatherings up to 200 guests. A getting-ready suite with good natural light for morning coverage.

The Photo Locations

The grand staircase is possibly my favorite location in the entire Mansion. Wrought-iron railing, intricate molding, and a second-floor vantage point that allows me to look down and photograph from above. The Waldorf Ballroom under the chandeliers before the reception starts. The outdoor veranda for sunset portraits — the sun sets beautifully from that angle. The grounds: the gardens, the pond, the fountain, the columns at the outdoor ceremony location, and the hedges that line the walking paths. The property is genuinely a playground for photographers with multiple backgrounds, vantage points, and lighting conditions in a small area.
