I capture the unspoken — the glances, the silences — drawing from New York's pulse and the richness of global cultures. Every wedding is its own intricate narrative. Rooted in theatre and life's everyday rhythms, I document moments both transient and timeless.

Hey, I'm susan!

Tribeca Rooftop venue guide

Tribeca Rooftop is one of New York City’s most distinctive wedding venues. A 1920s printing press building on a cobblestone street in lower Manhattan, with an 18,000 square foot rooftop deck, a 15,000 square foot industrial penthouse interior, Hudson River and skyline views, and an in-house culinary team that consistently draws comparisons to fine dining.

About the Venue

Located at 2 Desbrosses Street in Tribeca, the building was recently renovated with a 60-foot wraparound quartz bar, a 2,000-square-foot dance floor, and custom Italian drop lights. The 65-foot glass skylight runs the length of the interior space, flooding it with natural light during the day and the New York night sky after dark. In-house catering is led by Chef Joseph Jenkins, who has worked in the food industry for over four decades.

A note on capacity: Tribeca Rooftop requires a minimum of 200 guests. This is not a venue for intimate weddings. If you are planning a smaller celebration, Tribeca 360, a separate 30,000-square-foot space in the same building with its own entrance, accommodates up to 500 guests and is worth asking about.

The Spaces

The rooftop deck is 18,000 square feet, one of the largest in New York City, and handles outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hours with panoramic skyline and Hudson River views. The interior penthouse is 15,000 square feet with a glass skylight overhead, exposed brick walls, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a cherry wood dance floor. A getting-ready suite off the lobby has a changing area, bathroom, couches, and a bar area. Note that the suite is not large. Couples with big wedding parties who need hair and makeup for many people should plan a separate getting-ready space nearby.

What to Know Before You Book

Minimum 200 guests required. Audio-visual costs are additional and the venue is upfront about this from the first tour. Valet parking is available for an additional fee. The venue also works with Quick Park garage two blocks away. Tribeca Rooftop is close to Canal Street subway stop (1, A, C, and E trains).
