Crossed Keys Estate at 289 Pequest Road in Andover, New Jersey is a 30-plus acre family-owned estate one hour from New York City. The Rodriguez family has run it since 1999. One wedding per day. The English Garden for outdoor ceremonies. The glass-enclosed Conservatory with circular chandeliers for cocktail hour. The modern Farmhouse with 40-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, wooden beams, and a private balcony suite for the reception. In-house catering, floral design, and coordination all included. It photographs like the European countryside. I have photographed here and the property is genuinely extraordinary.

The Spaces
The English Garden is the outdoor ceremony space — an 18th-century-style formal garden with fragrant blooms and structured hedges. The natural setting eliminates the need for significant additional ceremony florals.
The Conservatory is the cocktail hour space — a glass-enclosed building with glittering circular chandeliers and folding doors that open to the courtyard. The combination of natural light from the glass walls and the chandelier glow creates an extraordinary cocktail hour environment in any season.
The Farmhouse is the reception space — a modern building with gambrel-style 40-foot ceilings, dark exposed wood beams, hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the grounds, and a private balcony suite above the reception floor. An enclosed passageway connects the Conservatory to the Farmhouse, so the transition from cocktail hour to reception is seamless and sheltered.
The 1790s Playhouse is the primary getting-ready suite — reimagined as a light-flooded dressing space with complimentary champagne and light bites. The Pequest Parlor is the second getting-ready suite.

Photography at Crossed Keys Estate
The English Garden ceremony with the historic estate buildings as the backdrop. The Conservatory during cocktail hour when the glass walls catch the afternoon light and the chandeliers glow overhead. The Farmhouse reception under the 40-foot gambrel ceiling with those floor-to-ceiling windows showing the grounds outside. The 1790s Playhouse getting-ready suite with its natural light. The reflecting pond, the meadow, the tree swing, the stone paths throughout the property. And the estate at golden hour — this is a property that earns every photograph it offers.
