Maritime Parc, at 84 Audrey Zapp Drive in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, is a contemporary waterfront venue with panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. I live in Jersey City. This venue is in my backyard (kinda sorta, but one can dream!), and I photograph here with genuine familiarity. The Aviary Room on the third floor, with its 22-foot vaulted beam ceiling and 360-degree wraparound terrace, is one of the most visually distinctive wedding spaces in the New York metro area. The food program under Executive Chef Chris Siversen is exceptional.

The Event Spaces
The Sky Room is the second-floor event space at 5,300 square feet with a wraparound outdoor terrace and Manhattan skyline views. Hardwood floors and pin-spot lighting. Up to 300 seated.
The Aviary Room is the third-floor signature space at 2,516 square feet, with a 22-foot vaulted exposed-beam ceiling, a 360-degree wraparound terrace, and arguably the best unobstructed view of lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty from any wedding venue in New Jersey. Up to 175 seated with a dance floor.
Both floors are connected by the Guggenheim-inspired grand staircase, which serves as both a functional connector and one of the venue’s most photographed features.

Photography at Maritime Parc
The Aviary Room under the 22-foot vaulted beam ceiling with the Manhattan skyline through the windows. The 360-degree wraparound terrace at golden hour, with the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan visible in both directions. The grand staircase for formal portraits. The waterfront exterior with the Hudson River and skyline as the backdrop. And the Liberty State Park grounds just outside for outdoor ceremony and portrait coverage with views unmatched by any Manhattan venue.

What is Maritime Parc?
A contemporary waterfront wedding venue in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, opened in 2009. 18,000 square feet. The Sky Room on the second floor and The Aviary Room on the third floor, each with wraparound outdoor terraces and panoramic views of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. What makes Maritime Parc distinctive?
The Aviary Room’s 360-degree wraparound terrace, with its 22-foot vaulted beam ceiling and lower Manhattan views, is unusual. You cannot get that vantage point from Manhattan itself. The food program is genuine restaurant-quality, not typical wedding catering. And the waterfront location in Liberty State Park gives outdoor ceremony and portrait options with the full Manhattan skyline as the backdrop, which you cannot replicate from the New York side.
Is Maritime Parc close to Manhattan?
Yes. Liberty State Park is directly across the Hudson River from lower Manhattan. Accessible by car, by PATH train to Exchange Place, and a short ride, or by water taxi. Most guests find the logistics straightforward.
Do you photograph weddings at Maritime Parc?
Yes. I live in Jersey City and know this venue well. If your wedding is here, I would love to hear about it.
