I capture the unspoken — the glances, the silences — drawing from New York's pulse and the richness of global cultures. Every wedding is its own intricate narrative. Rooted in theatre and life's everyday rhythms, I document moments both transient and timeless.

8 Stunning New Wedding Venues in New York City

While New York is beaming with history, it is also a city that is constantly evolving and growing. New life is always being breathed into the city, including venues where you can have your wedding.

Over the past few years, so many new wedding venues in New York City have been built and opened. As an NYC wedding photographer, I have had the opportunity to capture some amazing weddings at a few of these newer venues, and they definitely don’t disappoint.

So, if you are looking for a couple of new wedding venues in New York City to add to your list of potential venues, here are a few of my top recommendations.

New Wedding Venues in New York City

The Highlight Room at The Moxy Lower East Side

We are kicking off this list with a unique garden terrace that sits 16 stories over the Lower East Side. The Highlight Room features an indoor and outdoor area that can accommodate over 100 people.

Inside, you’ll find a moody atmosphere with a bar and plants hanging from the ceiling. Outside, you have a stunning terrace that has pristine views of the city, including the Empire State Building and the Freedom Tower.

If you are planning a slightly smaller wedding, this location is perfect, and it also has a dedicated elevator just for The Highlight Room, making this venue even more private.

CODA Williamsburg

The CODA Williamsburg is a unique hotel right in the heart of the city that offers eclectic decor and an amazing atmosphere. If you want to have a bit of a staycation for your wedding, this is definitely a great place to choose.

For your wedding itself, you can head up to the roof to the Creates of All Kind rooftop lounge. Not only does this lounge have a fun and laid-back vibe to it, but it also has stellar views of Manhattan and Brooklyn. You can rent out the entire lounge and host 200 people for your dream wedding.

If the amazing views weren’t enough, you also get an open bar and catered food, including hors d’oeuvres. With the CODA right downstairs, stunning views, and everything you could want for your wedding, this is the perfect rooftop venue in NYC.

Midnight Theatre

For any theater lovers out there, the Midnight Theatre is your spot to have your big moment under the lights. This theatre is right in Manhattan West and is home to entertainment ranging from cabarets to magicians to musicians and more.

The theatre can set up to 150 guests and has everything you need for your dream wedding. There is even a very popular restaurant right on site that serves up some delicious pan-Asian food.

For a 1920s vibe in the heart of the city, the Midnight Theatre is the perfect option!

The Altman Building

If you are looking for the perfect combination of old-style New York and modern amenities, The Altman Building is the perfect option. Located right in Chelsea, the building features architecture reminiscent of old New York and services that cover everything you need on your wedding day.

The venue itself offers an open space that can be transformed into anything you want for your dream wedding. At over 10,000 square feet, they can also accommodate up to 550 people for a seated reception, so big or small, they have space for all of your guests.

On top of the venue space itself, they also have bar packages, catering services, and rental services that include setting up the space to ensure you have everything you need for your special day!

Downtown Social

For a unique vibe to your wedding, check out Downtown Social. A fun and lively bar/restaurant, Downtown Social also has two different private rooms that you can rent out for your venue.

The State Room and The Empire Room both have their own private bars, beautiful wood floors, exposed brick, and ornate designs throughout. If you plan on inviting more people to your wedding, you can also rent out both rooms to give you and your guests more space as they are connected!

Rosette at Brooklyn Winery

While you can find wineries outside of the city, the Rosette at Brooklyn Winery gives you the unique opportunity to have your wedding at a winery right in the city! This venue is gorgeous and features touches like a living plant wall, a private wedding suite, and a view of the barrel room at the winery.

Not only is the venue beautiful, but they also work to make sure every detail is taken care of. Their in-house catering team will create the perfect food and beverage menu (featuring their own wine, of course). They also have event managers to help make sure all of your bases are covered.

Not only do they take care of you during your wedding, but you continue to get benefits after your wedding! You automatically become part of their Very Important Couples program, which gives you lifetime discounts on wine, food, and more at the winery!

Hall des Lumières

The Hall des Lumières is a unique place to visit on a regular day but can be transformed for your wedding into something that is unlike anything else you or your guests have ever experienced.

A multi-sensory experience, the Hall des Lumières is located in what used to be the Emigrant Industrial National Savings Bank. It is now a beautiful mix of historic architecture and modern art.

The venue features two different floors and has the ability to seat from 250-275 people on each floor. Not only will the backdrop for your wedding be stunning with the architecture, but you can also create custom projections to have during your wedding to really make it one-of-a-kind!

The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad

Finally, for a bit more of an upscale wedding, The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad gives you just that. Being a Ritz-Carlton, you can expect everything to be top-tier.

This specific location offers amazing views of the city and has different locations to choose from depending on the size of your wedding. From as little as 30 guests to 200, each one of their locations within the hotel has something special to offer, and all of them are luxurious.

Not only will you get the perfect location for your ceremony and wedding, but you’ll also have a wedding specialist to help you plan everything, a menu created by their in-house chef for your reception, all of the tables, chairs, and plate ware for your reception, as well as a complimentary night at the hotel for your wedding night.

The staff here really does think of everything and helps you plan out and budget each part of your wedding to make sure it is the night of your dreams!
