Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers is Manhattan’s largest waterfront wedding venue. 20,000 square feet of column-free space, floor-to-ceiling windows with Hudson River views, views of the Statue of Liberty and Freedom Tower, an all-season glass-enclosed terrace with an outdoor Veranda, and Executive Chef Matt Tiscornia in the kitchen. For large New York City weddings that want the Hudson River as the backdrop, there is nothing comparable.
About the Venue
Located at Chelsea Piers on the Hudson River in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. Part of the Pier Sixty Collection, which includes three waterfront venues: Pier Sixty (up to 750 guests), The Lighthouse (up to 300 guests), and Current (up to 200 guests). All three share the same culinary team and collection approach. Food and beverage minimums range from $67,500 to $112,500, depending on season and day of the week. Custom wedding cake included.
The Space
20,000 square feet of column-free space with floor-to-ceiling windows on the Hudson River. Views include the river, the Statue of Liberty, and the Freedom Tower. Soundproof airwalls divide the venue into smaller configurations when needed. An all-season glass-enclosed terrace connects to the outdoor Veranda, ideal for cocktail hour at sunset. Two private suites for the wedding party. State-of-the-art AV including 44 EM Acoustics speakers and five Panasonic laser projectors. LED color ceiling lights throughout.
The Other Two Venues
The Lighthouse accommodates up to 300 guests with floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors, and an exposed ceiling. It is considered the most visually striking of the three spaces and is the most popular choice for couples who want the waterfront without the scale of Pier Sixty.
Current accommodates up to 200 guests, featuring a modern, contemporary design, natural light, and a riverfront terrace. Clean and flexible for couples who want a more intimate waterfront experience.
Photography at Pier Sixty
The Hudson River at sunset through the floor-to-ceiling windows is the venue’s signature image. The outdoor Veranda during cocktail hour with the Statue of Liberty in the background. The terrace at golden hour with the water reflecting the sky. The interior of Pier Sixty itself, when the LED ceiling lights are programmed, and the room is full. The Freedom Tower visible from multiple angles. For large receptions that require photography with scale and grandeur, this venue delivers.
