About the Colony Club in NYC
The Colony Club is a private women’s social club located at 564 Park Avenue in Manhattan, New York City. It was founded in 1903 by Florence Jaffray Harriman, who desired to create a space where women could gather for intellectual and social pursuits. The club’s elegant Georgian Revival building was designed by architect Stanford White and is considered a landmark of the Upper East Side. The Colony Club has a rich history and has been frequented by many influential women throughout the years, including Eleanor Roosevelt, Joan Crawford, and Vera Wang. It remains a popular venue for social and cultural events, as well as a symbol of the strength and vitality of women’s organizations.
It’s also one of my favorite, sweetest wedding venues in Manhattan.
